Support Group Meetings

An online support community specifically for our practice, DS Pacific Laparoscopy Yahoo! Group, where patients can communicate with each other.

Our surgeon's fee includes a multidisciplinary team that provides preoperative education and support classes, postoperative support group settings where nutrition, exercise and behavior modification are reinforced at monthly meetings and various locations. Quarterly newsletters offer updated education on bariatrics. Follow-up and medical/nutritional management are included for 18 months. Annual follow-up visits are recommended at 24 months and annually thereafter. Ongoing research and publications continue to be considered an important part of our practice.
